Chapter Five

The Living World

Winning battles is only one part of your story. Beyond the board lies a camp to lead, an economy to master, and a future to build.

Your Camp is what separates ordinary survivors from those who truly thrive in Ethos Heights. While winning battles matters, the most successful survivors understand that Mythic Spellbook is far more than a trading card game.

From the beginning, the goal was to create a living, breathing world where your cards are more than collectibles — they are real inhabitants, each with their own purpose, growth, and story. Your Units live in your Camp, work within your community, and help shape your journey.

Ethos Heights After the end of the world, the ruins of New York were rebuilt and renamed Ethos Heights — a fallen city reborn as a place of opportunity, danger, exploration, and discovery. A world that keeps existing long after the battle ends.

The Center of Operations

Your Camp

The decisions you make in your Camp can matter just as much as the choices you make in battle.

01

Manage Resources

Stockpile, allocate, and spend the materials that keep your settlement running.

02

Train Units

Develop your allies between battles so they return to the field stronger.

03

Grow the Economy

Run businesses, invest, and turn a small outpost into a thriving operation.

04

Prepare Expeditions

Outfit your survivors and plan the runs that bring rare loot home.

05

Build the Foundation

Lay the groundwork for everything your future success will be built on.

The Quiet Truth The strongest survivors aren't always the ones who win the most matches — they're often the ones who build the most efficient camps, develop their Units, and seize the opportunities Ethos Heights has to offer.

Partnerships

District Nodes

One of the strongest ways to grow your camp is by forming partnerships with nearby communities.

Expansion

Build, Expand & Keep Morale High

Your camp is fully interactive and grows over time — but a growing camp needs a happy population.

Construct

Raise new buildings to expand what your camp can do.

Repair

Restore damaged structures after the chaos of the wasteland.

Hire Guards

Protect your citizens and keep the settlement secure.

Invest

Fund facilities that improve production and quality of life.

Mind the Morale Citizens want safety, jobs, resources, and hope for the future. If morale declines, your population may leave for better opportunities at nearby District Nodes — and a shrinking population means fewer workers, reduced production, and slower growth. A strong camp creates strong survivors.

A Player-Driven World

The Economy

Battling other players is only one part of the experience. Mythic Spellbook was built as a player-driven economy — a living world where cooperation, leadership, and economic decisions matter just as much as winning battles.

Throughout your journey you'll take part in supply and demand, trade resources, manage businesses, invest in opportunities, and lead your own camp. The economy isn't separate from the game — it is the game. The resources you gather, the businesses you run, and the relationships you build all feed your camp's success.

There are many paths to success — choose the role that fits you.

A True Trading Platform

Built Entirely Within Mythic Spellbook

Mythic Spellbook is a full digital trading platform — but trading, ownership, and the economy operate entirely within its own ecosystem, never dependent on crypto assets or blockchain systems. Survivors buy, sell, trade, and negotiate directly with one another, exchanging cards, resources, businesses, and services as they expand their influence.

In Ethos Heights, nearly everything has value — and prices are never fixed forever. The worth of an asset rises and falls with the world around it:

Supply & demand
World events
Resource shortages
New discoveries
Node development
Camp growth
Seasonal content
Community activity
Your Decisions Shape the Market A resource that's common today may be highly sought after tomorrow; a card few players use may spike in value the moment a new strategy is discovered. Every trade, investment, and business decision feeds a larger ecosystem driven by the community itself.
